ANNOUNCEMENT [Forum] Layout Upgrades

Ayy fr'ends,
As you can see, after a long time with caffeine and beerbongs, I managed to install the theme I was working on from a couple of weeks.

Along with the complete theme upgrade. Here's a full list of what else has changed :

1. Userbars
These cool fancy userbars took most of the time, a lot of tests were conducted on these. And were finalized by a voting session within the clan.

We implemented level based bars to mock regular users and ex-members. JOIN UNIQUE FORCE TO GET THE FANCY PERKS! Nah, it's your wish.

2. Avatar dimension limits
External Avatars (upload by url) can now have a maximum limit of 120x120 pixels.
We tried a lot, but the Uploaded Avatars don't seem to be very happy with an enlarged butthole.
So, they're still at 65x65. (it's actually because of space outage)

3. Topic Index Icons
Beautifying everything isn't fair at all. So we thought it might be a brilliant idea to change topic icons to it's author's ugly avatar.

4. The Banner
Oh fuck, who kept my AK47 over there?

5. SMF Version
The SMF, in itself, was upgraded to the latest stable version.


Now, talking about something that didn't turn out very well, and we know about it.

1. Nightmode

The theme contains a mode switch by default, the sun/moon icon in the top right corner. It is supposed switch between colors of the forum.

I had actually removed this inversion effect from the style sheets on the test forums. But somehow, this forum doesn't appreciate my efforts.

I can't remove it right now but I have disabled nightmode from the index.php. I can enable if you guys want that feature.

But just for knowledge, I designed everything keeping a light theme in mind not a dark one. So, the night mode doesn't look so cool with the current configuration.

2. Alignment issues with header and footer images
These are because a non-uniform dimension size of original headers and footers. I'm working to solve this issue already.

Good Updates, Spiller. Great work you've done. The theme is unique indeed. Still, some more modifications I've in my mind. I'll make modifications by Sat/Sun. And make updates post here.

so the nightmode has been fixed up.

PRESS CTRL+F5 FIRST

As soon as you hit the sun/moon icon on the top right, the forum will switch modes between light and dark.
I prefer the light one but it's completely your wish.

Also, both headers and footers have been fixed.
